A documentary filmmaker travels to Jellystone Park to shoot a project and soon crosses paths with Yogi Bear, his sidekick Boo-Boo, and Ranger Smith.
Plot: Jellystone Park is celebrating its 100 anniversary, however it may be for the last time, because attendance is down and Mayor Brown wants to close the park and sell the land. If the park is closed, Yogi Bear and Boo Boo will lose their home. They join forces with Ranger Smith to save Jellystone from closing forever. Yogi must really prove in this endeavor that he is “smarter than the average bear”.
Goofs: We know about 1 goofs. Here comes one of them:
Continuity: While Yogi is handcuffed to the tree, the handcuffs switch from his right paw to his left and back again repeatedly.
Trivia: There are 2 entries in the trivia list – like these:
- Many students of Daws Butler (the original voice of Yogi Bear) sent Dan Aykroyd tapes of Butler explaining how to do Yogi's voice. Aykroyd refused to listen to any of the tapes, preferring to do his own take on the classic character.
- WILHELM SCREAM: When a pinecone falls out of a tree and hits Yogi in the eye.
